ATC Healthcare Position Summary ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in OPWDD-certified group home settings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on nursing experience working in residential group homes under OPWDD guidelines and possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, person-centered care, and community-based services. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and routine health evaluations for individuals residing in OPWDD group homes. Develop, implement, and maintain individualized nursing care plans based on each person's medical and behavioral needs. Ensure compliance with all OPWDD regulations, agency policies, and documentation requirements. Monitor the health status of individuals and respond promptly to medical concerns, emergencies, and incidents. Review physician orders, oversee medication administration, and ensure treatments are carried out accurately. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate quality care. Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on medication administration, health-related protocols, and infection control practices. Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in electronic health records. Participate in quality assurance activities, regulatory audits, and compliance reviews. Promote person-centered care while supporting the health, safety, independence, and overall well-being of individuals served. Required Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an OPWDD-certified group home or residential setting. Previous nursing experience in an OPWDD group home is required. Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations, nursing standards, and residential service requirements. Experience with medication oversight, treatment planning, and incident reporting. Excellent clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if travel between residential sites is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Familiarity with residential health care coordination and interdisciplinary team collaboration. Knowledge of OPWDD quality assurance standards and regulatory surveys.
