Job Description

Qualifications:
Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) through the Ohio State Board of Nursing. Experience in pediatrics and/or DD programs preferred. Excellent medical care knowledge and application for students. Strong organizational skills. Valid driver's license and access to automobile preferred. Ability to work independently, showing initiative and self-direction while effectively managing responsibilities with minimal supervision. Demonstrate strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively share information with students, families, colleagues, and community partners, both verbally and in writing. Ability to obtain certification as an instructor to provide First Aid and CPR training. Ability to have some flexibility in work schedule for occasional nursing coverage when Health Service Coordinator is out or unavailable. Duties
  • In coordination with the
Health Services Coordinator:
Provides professional nursing and health care services to enrolled students of Beacon School. Prepares and maintain documentation, both written and electronic, of health files and medical records of all students enrolled in the school. Provides/presents educational health information/training to students, staff and families. Ensures appropriate communication regarding professional medical services. Participates in in-service training, staff and program meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned The schedule follows the academic year calendar, Monday

  • 1 pm. Pay is determined by licensure and related experience as follows: RN Associate's Degree $23.03
