Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN Stepdown
  • Cardio for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult stepdown patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions Monitor and manage patients with acute MI, CHF, arrhythmias, and cardiomyopathy Care for ventilator-dependent and non-invasive ventilation patients (BiPAP/CPAP/APAP) Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret telemetry data Administer medications, IV infusions, blood transfusions, and injections Provide central line care and maintenance Conduct neurological assessments including NIH Stroke Scale (stroke unit requirement) Assist with diagnostic procedures such as 12-lead EKGs and point-of-care glucose testing Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and respiratory therapists Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality standards Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act Qualifications Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License BLS Certification (American Heart Association) ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) Minimum Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage complex medical stepdown patients Competency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Experience in cardiac stepdown, ICU, or telemetry units preferred Experience with ventilated or respiratory-compromised patients preferred Experience in stroke-certified units preferred Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills Ability to adapt in a culturally diverse healthcare setting For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
