  • Cardio-Pulmonary for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for stepdown patients Monitor and manage patients with acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, CHF, cardiomyopathy, and chest pain diagnoses Provide care for long-term ventilator-dependent patients Administer infusion therapies, blood transfusions, injections, and central line care Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Utilize Bi-PAP, C-PAP, and A-PAP equipment as needed Perform accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with nursing standards Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Support stroke care initiatives as part of the dedicated stroke unit team Qualifications Experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care preferred Experience caring for cardiac, pulmonary, renal, endocrine, and stroke patients preferred NIH Stroke Scale certification required as part of unit competency Experience with cardiac monitoring and non-invasive ventilation preferred Night shift availability required Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License BLS Certification (American Heart Association) ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
