Qualifications RN License BLS Certification Medical-surgical Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Role:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Explaining procedures, monitoring patient health, managing medications, preparing patients for diagnostics, ensuring safety, documenting care, advocating for patients, facilitating discharge planning, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires at least one year of Med Surg RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must possess critical thinking, excellent communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
