The PCU RN provides intermediate-level acute care for patients requiring close monitoring, frequent assessments, and telemetry oversight, collaborating closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting Maintain a typical 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Perform and manage IV starts and telemetry monitoring Document accurately and timely in Epic Float as needed within units of equivalent or lower acuity Work rotating holidays and occasional weekends per unit needs Requirements PCU experience: Minimum 2 years PCU experience (per job notes); posting also indicates at least 1 year within the last 2 years

Certifications:

BLS + ACLS
