1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience in a pediatric hospital and an OH or Compact RN license. Details Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a pediatric hospital Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30) 13-week assignment length Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS units as needed Cares for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease, post cardiac surgery, and post cardiac catheterization needs Requirements Active OH State or Compact RN license required in hand BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required in a pediatric hospital setting (hard stop requirement) Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients required Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and arterial line management required Two supervisory references required at time of consideration, at least one must be manager/supervisor titled ECMO, CRRT, and VAD (LVAD/RVAD) experience preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiovascular patients including those with congenital heart disease and post-cardiac surgery needs Floating to other units is a strong expectation and point of emphasis for this facility Candidates must not have worked in a permanent role for this facility within the last 2 years No local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius
