48 Hours/Week Gross weekly

Range:

$2900/week to $3018/week (Travel Contract)

Unit Overview:

High-acuity, fast-paced Stepdown/PCU unit caring for patients with DKA, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, stroke, sepsis, Afib, ESRD, and urologic complications. Nurses should have strong critical thinking, time management, cardiac monitoring, and ventilator/trach experience.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large hospital Level I Trauma experience required Travel experience required EPIC charting experience required Ventilator/trach experience required Must pass online EKG/telemetry competency exam before start

BLS & ACLS

required | NIHSS preferred

Skills Needed:

Cardiac drips, chest tubes, ventilator care, telemetry interpretation, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, trach care, IV starts, stroke care, insulin drips, wound vacs, central lines, and vasoactive drips.

Patient Ratios:

Typically 1:4-5, may stretch to 1:6 if needed.

Additional Details:

Every other weekend/holiday required First to float within specialty clusters Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemption accepted)
