A Cardiology Registered Nurse provides care for patients with heart problems. Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Job Description Summary:
- Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in perioperative and operating room settings.
Responsibilities And Duties:
- 30% Assessment/Diagnosis Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- + (BSN required at 5 years of employment) + Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio + BLS and ACLS certification + Cardiac experience
