1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift hospital role requiring an active Ohio or compact license and recent Epic charting experience. Details Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Uses Epic for electronic charting Required to work at least every other holiday Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (coworker references not accepted) Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Nicotine-free policy does not apply to nurses Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
