Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a healthcare, correctional, behavioral health, or institutional setting. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, respond to medical emergencies, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, responses to treatment, and progress. Administer prescribed medications, immunizations, IV therapies, and other treatments as ordered. Perform routine nursing assessments, medication administration, and patient monitoring. Respond to medical emergencies by providing first aid, CPR, and coordinating emergency medical care when necessary. Perform specialized nursing procedures including IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, catheterization, tube feeding, suctioning, blood transfusions, dialysis support, phlebotomy, and other procedures within the RN scope of practice. Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments. Supervise and provide guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), nursing assistants, and other support staff as assigned. Participate in staff orientation, education, and ongoing training programs. Coordinate and assist during emergency response situations, including medical codes. Maintain accurate patient records, medication documentation, incident reports, and other required clinical documentation. Monitor and maintain inventory of medications, controlled substances, medical supplies, and equipment. Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care as needed. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, healthcare regulations, and patient safety standards. Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Experience administering medications, IV therapy, and emergency nursing care. Up to $63.00 per hour
