Key Details:

Schedule includes every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) Intermittent charge nurse responsibilities may be required; charge training and shadowing are provided

Preferred Qualifications:

Current, active RN license Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical setting Proficiency in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments Previous charge nurse experience is a plus (training available)

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg unit Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Monitor and document patient condition and respond to changes in status Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Support and mentor less experienced staff; act in charge nurse capacity as assigned Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your professional skills while contributing to a high-quality healthcare environment.
