Job Description
A Registered Nurse renders personal and professional care to patients. Uses a systematic approach to assist patient's needs, plan care, provide quality/direct care, coordination of care and evaluate care in an efficient and safe environment. The RN facilitates collaboration amongst a variety of disciplines to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice, for promoting teamwork with physician and personnel of other department. Patient advocacy, patient safety, and improving health status are priorities when the RN develops the plan of care. The RN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital. Scrub experience required. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. Cardiac monitoring or Telemetry Education required. CNOR and prior relevant nursing experience preferred.
