We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support a wide range of medical services, from post operative care to long-term and community-based care, empowering patients on their journey to wellness. We are a privately owned nursing facility, we are not owned by a cooperate chain. We do not use agency nursing. We over staff to avoid the need of mandating when there are call offs. We also utilize Certified Med Techs to allow our nurses to focus on nursing duties. We are looking to fill a day shift and night shift position! We are overall a laid back facility, it is a great environment to learn in, and train STNA as well as nursing students. We have 5 star staffing rates and 4 star survey rates! Currently looking for night shift for this position! Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth. Administer medications via injection, IV infusion, and other routes following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety. Perform specialized procedures including catheterization, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and wound dressing changes with precision and attention to infection control standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and PT/OT/ST, and social workers to coordinate effective patient care across inpatient, outpatient, home care, and long-term care settings. Manage emergency situations by providing prompt care and communication, acute pain management, CPR, Falls. Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as geriatrics, dementia care, tube feedings, intravenous medications, and chronic disease management Ensure accurate medical documentation of care performed, medication administration records, lab results, intakes and outputs, admission intakes, weekly skin monitoring, daily skilled assessments. Requirements Valid RN license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Valid CPR card Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment and problem management Ability to work with and delegate responsibilities among nursing assistants and Medication Technicians Excellent communication skills for patient education, ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
