Job Description
Summary The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing nursing care to all surgical patients at the ASC, meeting patient needs related to age, surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered. The RN engages in caring relationships with patients' families and support persons, works collaboratively with other health care workers, and uses sound judgments while performing nursing and medical interventions throughout the perioperative experience. The RN adheres to specialty standards and organizational standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols. Reports to the Nurse Administrator. May participate in supervision of Licensed Nursing Assistants and unlicensed personnel. Education Graduate from an accredited
