A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Night Shift; Three 12 hour shifts; 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Qualification Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing; BSN preferred. Currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing. Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, with 1 year of experience in an acute setting preferred. Has working experience charting in an EMR system, Netsmart system preferred. Possesses clinical expertise related to critical thinking, assessment, problem-solving, and technical skills. Possesses the ability to provide basic and skilled nursing care, set priorities of care, and appropriately assess limits of intervention. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care issues. Has the ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Must be CPR certified according to the American Heart Association CPR standards.
