Job description Senders Pediatrics is a vibrant pediatric and young adult practice that has been committed to clinical expertise, innovative thinking and providing comprehensive and compassionate family care for over 30 years. Located in South Euclid, Senders Pediatrics provides care to over 10,000 patients from ages 0-26 years young. Our team is grateful for the trust placed in us by our families and we strive to be an invaluable resource and trusted partner throughout our patients' lives. We are currently seeking an Advise Nurse to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a pediatric ED, Urgent Care or primary care background and will provide compassionate care to our patients. Essential Functions include, but not limited to: Provides phone triage of calls from patients and families regarding medical concerns; provides outstanding pediatric patient guidance. Uses excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic acumen in determining the best course of action during an advice call Using clinical decision making skills to determine need for phone advice vs office or telehealth visit Resolve or report on patients' needs or problems Follow care regulations and standards
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in nursing 1-3 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient, ED or Urgent Care setting Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task Compassionate with good communication skills Excellent teamwork skills
Our Hours and Expectations:
We are open 7 days a week.
We serve patients:
Mondays and Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:30am-7:30pm, Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays 9:00am -12:00pm. Schedule is 3-4 days per week (24-32 hours) plus 1 weekend a month.
