High School Health Aide Washington Local Schools - 4.3 Toledo, OH Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Nursing First aid and CPR Full Job Description Education and Experience Possesses a valid driver's license and BCII clearance Must have RN, LPN, or other Medical Training/Experience Possesses CPR and First Aid Certification Possesses certification or willing to be trained in CPR and AED equipment operation Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong writing, grammar, reading, and basic math skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with staff, students, parents, and the public Familiarity with voice-mail and e-mail procedures Adheres to strict confidentiality standards Essential Functions Works within the legal framework by adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act Collaborate with the School Nurses and building principal to meet the health needs of students Maintains the computerized school health records and incorporates pertinent information as necessary Assumes responsibility for student medications as the designee of the principal Maintains protocol for distribution of student medications Maintains records for all student medications and health screenings Assists in the control of communicable and nuisance diseases by adhering immunization requirements and exclusion policies Participates in multi-factored evaluations as designated by the Director of Student Services
