OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
Mount Carmel Health System, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Medical Oncology team. The selected APP will manage the care of Hematology and Oncology patients, seeing inpatient consults as well as patients in clinic, and rounding on patients receiving chemo in the outpatient infusion center. The primary shift will be day, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional need to cover other shifts.
What you need:
Education:
Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program Licensure /
Certification:
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred Physician Assistant will be considered as well BLS provider certification required ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years recent and relevant APP experience in oncology
