1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and NRP certification. Details 13-week travel assignment on a Labor and Delivery unit with 6 LDRs Night shift, 7p-7a Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1 Scope of care includes pregnancy over 20 weeks, labor, and antepartum patients Floating required to postpartum or nursery units No call requirements 48-hour guaranteed schedules and blocked schedules cannot be accommodated Uses Cerner EMR Maroon scrubs provided or required Requirements Active RN license (OK state or Compact) required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care Utilize the nursing process in accordance with hospital policy and the state Nurse Practice Act Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical leadership in planning safe deliveries Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education Delegate and supervise patient care assignments among staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered RTO requests must be less than one week Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
