$1,372/week Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)
  • OB/GYN for a 13-week contract assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma .
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced OB/GYN, Antepartum, Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, or Women's Services RN with experience caring for mothers and newborns in a Level I Trauma setting . The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care, monitor maternal and fetal conditions, administer medications and treatments, assist physicians with procedures, and educate patients and families throughout their hospital stay. Why Apply? $2,515.36 weekly gross $31.76/hour W-2 $1,372/week non-taxable stipend 13-week contract 3x12-hour night shifts Opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma setting Work with an experienced OB/GYN and maternal-newborn care team Responsibilities Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and provide safe, competent nursing care. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment. Monitor maternal and fetal physiological data and recognize changes requiring intervention. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products. Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments. Follow and document physician orders and changes in the plan of care. Provide antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursing care as assigned. Educate patients and families regarding the plan of care, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Make appropriate referrals based on patient care needs. Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional nursing standards. Required Qualifications 1+ year of RN experience Recent Antepartum and/or Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience Experience with postpartum and newborn care Experience in a Level I Trauma setting Strong maternal-child nursing experience Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills Ability to organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Required Certifications BLS
  • American Heart Association ACLS
  • American Heart Association Intermediate Fetal Monitoring NRP
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program All required certifications must be current and available upon hire.
Education Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. Licensure Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing OR Current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) .
