At FirstLight Home Care of South Tulsa, we are intentionally expanding our advanced wound care capabilities to better serve Veterans and medically complex adults across Eastern Oklahoma. We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse with strong wound care experience — and preferably wound certification — who takes pride in thorough assessment, thoughtful intervention, and consistent follow-through in the home setting. Position Responsibilities As a Wound-Focused Home Health RN, you will: Perform comprehensive in-home nursing and wound assessments Develop and implement wound care treatment plans per orders Perform and supervise dressing changes and skin interventions Identify early signs of skin breakdown and intervene proactively Provide patient and caregiver education on wound prevention and care Complete start-of-care and skilled nursing visits as assigned Monitor healing progress and communicate changes to providers Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation Demonstrate strong reliability and professional follow-through Qualifications Required Active Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience Strong wound care experience in home health, hospice, SNF, or hospital setting Reliable, consistent attendance and professional accountability Comfort working independently in home settings Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strongly Preferred Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, CWON, or similar) Home health experience Experience serving Veteran or geriatric populations Familiarity with Axxess EMR Schedule Full-time/Part-Time Primarily daytime visits Field-based throughout Central/Northeastern Oklahoma Compensation and Benefits Competitive per visit RN pay (DOE) Mileage reimbursement Health, Dental, Vision insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Stable full-time caseload Supportive clinical leadership Work Location Field-based role serving clients in surrounding Eastern Oklahoma communities.
