What You'll Do as a PRN On‑Call RN As a Registered Nurse, you play a vital role in assessing patient needs and delivering timely, skilled care during on‑call hours.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting patient visits to assess nursing needs Completing initial evaluation visits and developing individualized plans of care Performing ongoing comprehensive assessments and revising care plans as needed Providing skilled nursing treatments and educating patients and caregivers on disease processes, self‑care, and prevention Initiating preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as ordered Preparing clinical and progress notes and coordinating services Communicating directly with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care Re‑evaluating patient needs and assisting with discharge planning Supervising LPNs, vocational nurses, and home health aides when needed Practicing infection control and reporting any signs of abuse Assisting with office tasks and new‑nurse orientation when required Your work ensures patients receive safe, compassionate, and effective care when they need it most. Qualifications Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing Active RN license in Oklahoma At least 1 year of nursing experience CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Ability to travel long distances and adapt to changing schedules Home health, critical care, or emergency room experience preferred Strong communication skills, calm under pressure, organized, and able to multitask Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Schedule PRN - On‑Call Ready to Join Our Team?
