9668298-97813 Job Description An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about supporting student health and well-being. In this contract position, you'll serve as a district nurseworking with a K-12 population and providing essential care across several schools weekly. With part-time, flexible hours to coordinate alongside district needs, youll play a pivotal role in maintaining a healthy, safe environment for students.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and operating health services in school health offices Assessing, interpreting, and documenting student health needs and interventions Administering medication, conducting health screenings, and responding to emergencies Providing education to students and staff on health, hygiene, and chronic condition management Coordinating care with families, school personnel, and external healthcare providers Traveling between multiple school sites throughout the week

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license Experience or strong interest in school nursing or pediatric nursing Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and staff Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and travel between locations CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations You'll become an integral resource for students and staffhelping create a supportive, healthy learning environment.
