Salary Range:
$115,000 to $130,000 (depending on experience). This position is designed for a dedicated professional who thrives in a for-profit, established, and beautiful community environment. We are seeking a stable, committed leader who can balance compassionate resident care with team leadership, and operational support in senior living.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality of care for all residents, oversee the medication administration program, and conduct internal quality assurance departmental audits. Assess resident health conditions upon move-in and during changes of condition, establish appropriate care levels, and direct Plans of Care. Supervise, coach, and mentor the Resident Care Coordinator/Memory Care Program Manager, Community Nurse, Medication Technicians, and Caregivers. Maintain strict compliance with state regulations, manage nurse delegation, and oversee required staff training and safety standards.
Professional Experience:
A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment (Oregon). A minimum of one (1) year of prior nursing experience in a Senior Living Community or related business, including a knowledge base of the geriatric population with complex medical needs. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional leadership training preferred. A professional who prioritizes stability and emotional safety, maintaining a courteous, calm, and supportive demeanor.
Qualifications:
Ability to read, interpret, and write clinical reports, safety rules, and procedure manuals while speaking English proficiently. Strong mathematical and reasoning skills to calculate percentages and handle multi-variable situations. Proficiency with Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, service plan software, and computerized medication documentation.
