Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license School nursing experience highly preferred, but open to strong clinical background in pediatric or community health settings Understanding of care planning, health assessments, and medication administration for children and adolescents Excellent communication and collaboration skills Accurate documentation abilities and comfort navigating student health records CPR and First Aid certifications

Responsibilities:

Conduct health screenings and provide appropriate clinical interventions for students and staff Administer medications and monitor students with chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or seizure disorders Develop individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students as needed Maintain confidential and detailed medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations Deliver training on health-related topics and procedures to faculty and school personnel Respond promptly to health emergencies and communicate effectively with parents and medical providers
