• Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Observation) Location Portland, OR | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (3×12 Hours, 19:00-07:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Observation) setting within a short-term acute care facility Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 Float between units based on skill set and patient care needs, including potential float to sister facilities in the surrounding region Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and float policies throughout the duration of the assignment Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at the time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs or Lead RNs accepted) Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting Familiarity with Epic charting system Experience floating across multiple units or facility types Why Join Us Work within a large, well-established regional health system with access to diverse clinical environments across multiple facilities No-cost parking and communication devices provided as needed for the assignment Benefits • Day 1 health benefits (medical/dental/vision) • Weekly pay • Direct deposit • $1,500 referral bonus program About Us All Medical Personnel is a leading national temporary employment agency for healthcare workforce solutions in the United States.
