3 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED Case Manager RN for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital requiring 3 years of ED/inpatient case management experience and an active OR RN license. Details ED Case Manager RN role in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting Patient ratios of 1:20-25 Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00am-3:30pm Variable weekend requirements No on-call requirements Possible floating within scope to meet facility needs, including to nearby affiliate hospitals Epic charting system used Requirements Active RN license, OR license required BLS and ACLS certifications required 3 years of ED acute, inpatient, and hospital case management experience within the last 5 years required Level I Trauma experience as a nurse or case manager required Inpatient medical/surgical, ED, and pediatric experience required Epic charting experience strongly preferred Teaching hospital and Level I/II Trauma experience preferred Travel experience preferred but not required Pending license accepted with proof of submission to licensing board Additional Information Provide case management services for adult inpatient and ED populations, including admission criteria review, care coordination, and discharge planning Utilize InterQual Criteria and Milliman Guidelines in case management decisions Work within regulatory frameworks including
CMS, DRG, HEDIS, HIPAA, ICD-10
coding, and Joint Commission standards Scrubs of any solid color accepted, no prints, provided by facility First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate No mileage radius restriction for eligibility Returning staff must have a gap of 6+ months since last assignment RTO limited to 7-10 days maximum, with additional time added to contract end date to accommodate Daily parking pass required at $16 for 8am-5pm, public transportation encouraged
