Role Overview:

A Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care in a facility setting, focusing on patient health, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities include assessing residents, developing care plans, administering treatments and medications, supervising staff, and educating residents and families. The RN collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care, while maintaining compliance with regulations and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor resident health, implement personalized care, perform skilled procedures, supervise nursing staff, document care, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with healthcare professionals. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

At least one year of LTC RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS/cpr certification, critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment and residents, and proficiency in documentation and teamwork.
