Job description: Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for the Oregon Region. The ideal candidate will have experience working with inmates and possess a strong foundation in primary care practices. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care, assisting with various medical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of our patients in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Assist with routine medical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Travel to various correctional facilities ensuring staffing needs are met Skills Experience working with inmates Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient needs. Proficiency in venipuncture techniques for blood draws. Familiarity with primary and urgent care practices and protocols. Ability to lift patients safely while adhering to proper body mechanics.
