Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment (specific shift details provided during interview)
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum 1 year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) setting Proficiency in patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred) Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and EHR systems
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered nursing care to adult populations in a med-surg unit Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to treatments Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures as needed Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to provide holistic care Educate patients and families about discharge plans and ongoing treatments Uphold high standards of patient safety and infection control
