About the Role Emergency Diagnostic Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to independently operate an on-site employee health and first-aid station serving the workforce of a secure federal facility in Boyers, Pennsylvania. This is a solo-practice, walk-in clinic role: you will be the on-site clinical presence for minor illness and injury care, medical emergency response until EMS arrives, and employee wellness support. You will have the autonomy to organize and run the station, with clinical and administrative support from our Pittsburgh-area and Dallas leadership team.

On-site at a federal facility in Boyers, PA 16018 (Butler County)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. No nights, no weekends, no holidays, no on-call.

Pay:

$39.00-$42.00 per hour based on experience (approx. $81,000-$87,000 per year), plus paid federal holidays, paid time off, and benefits.

Anticipated start:

Late September / early October 2026 (contingent on contract award and background investigation). What You Will Do Assess, treat, counsel, and refer walk-in patients with minor illnesses and injuries. Respond to medical emergencies within the facility; provide first aid, CPR/AED, and stabilization until ambulance personnel are on site. Monitor blood pressure and glucose; assist with prescribed injections as needed. Maintain the station's medical furniture, first-aid supplies, over-the-counter medications, and emergency medications/equipment (epinephrine, naloxone, nitroglycerin, AED), including expiration checks and inspection logs. Create and maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records in secure physical and electronic systems. Support lactation and contemplation/wellness rooms; participate in facility emergency planning as requested. Administer a brief patient-satisfaction survey to each visitor and compile a monthly utilization report (Excel) showing daily visit counts and general reasons for visit (no patient identifiers). Meet a 5-10 minute patient engagement standard and a 90%+ patient-satisfaction target. Complete required annual federal facility training (security awareness, privacy, cybersecurity, etc.) — all provided online, on the clock. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania (or multistate compact license with PA privilege). Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association). Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in urgent care, emergency, occupational health, or a similar walk-in/autonomous setting. U.S. citizenship required; must successfully complete a federal background investigation and maintain eligibility for the duration of employment. Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and communicate professionally with a diverse workforce. Proficiency with electronic medical records, Microsoft Excel, and email. Reliable daily transportation to Boyers, PA. Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification. Occupational health, corporate/industrial, school, or military/federal nursing experience.
