Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We specialize in plastic surgery so if you have relevant experience, that is a plus! Responsibilities Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition post-surgery, ensuring stability during recovery. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. Maintain infection control standards throughout the Pre-op and PACU environment. Skills Must have recent experience in pre-op and PACU nursing maintain BLS and ACLS Experience with plastic surgery patients. Strong background in infection control practices within healthcare settings.
