The assignment runs from now through June 2026, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of students who are visually impaired or have complex medical needs. You'll work Sunday through Thursday, covering overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring the health and safety of students in a nurturing, collaborative environment. Your experience in pediatric care will play an essential role in managing nighttime medical needs, responding to emergencies, and supporting the well-being of the school community.

What is desired:

Current, active RN license in Pennsylvania Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred Minimum of 3 years' pediatric nursing experience required; previous school-based experience highly valued Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills Comfort working independently during overnight hours Ability to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to children and adolescents Key responsibilities: Oversee students' medical needs and respond to health emergencies overnight Administer prescribed medication and treatments according to care plans Document observations, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulations Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families as needed during overnight hours Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for all residents If you are committed to providing specialized nursing care in a unique academic setting and ready for a fulfilling contract opportunity, this is your chance.
