Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Experienced Registered Nurses are needed for specialized telemetry care on a contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for skilled RNs who excel in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong background in telemetry-focused patient monitoring. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide excellent care, leveraging advanced technology to ensure optimum patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in a telemetry or telemetry-focused environment Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail Proficiency with telemetry equipment and interpreting cardiac rhythms Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
Monitor cardiac and vital sign data for patients on telemetry units Implement provider orders and administer medications as prescribed Perform assessments and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition Document care activities and patient progress accurately in the medical record Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans Collaborate effectively with physicians and team members to coordinate care Maintain compliance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards This contract position allows you to bring your expertise to a supportive and dynamic environment while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
