Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into an exciting and impactful role caring for junior high and high school students in a dynamic educational environment. A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in school settings, set to support grades 7 through 12. This flexible position allows you to choose between full-time or part-time hours, helping you to achieve work-life balance while making a difference in students' health and well-being. Candidates should bring expertise in providing age-appropriate healthcare, managing chronic conditions, handling emergencies, and promoting wellness within a school community. Your commitment to fostering a safe, healthy learning atmosphere will be valued every day. Qualifications Active and current Pennsylvania Registered Nursing license (required) Experience as an RN in a school or pediatric setting preferred Comfort working with adolescent populations (grades 7-12) Strong communication and record-keeping skills Ability to assess, triage, and manage student health concerns CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to students and staff during school hours Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized health plans Administer medications and manage students' chronic medical needs Educate students and staff on wellness, disease prevention, and injury management Maintain accurate and confidential health records per school protocol Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students' educational and health goals This role is an excellent fit for a Registered Nurse eager to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting—whether full-time or part-time is the best fit for you.
