Job Description
Position SummaryWe are seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment and related therapies.
Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor oncology patients and their clinical conditions. Administer medications, chemotherapy, and treatments as ordered. Monitor patients for treatment responses and adverse reactions. Provide symptom management and supportive care. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and side effects. Communicate patient status and changes to physicians and the care team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow medication safety, infection prevention, and patient safety standards. Provide emotional support to patients and families. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program. Current, active RN license. BLS certification. Oncology nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
