An immediate position is available for a caring, attentive Registered Nurse to support a student with type 1 diabetes, ensuring their safety and well-being during transportation to and from a specialized educational setting. The role requires active monitoring and supervision, as the student is unable to self-manage their blood sugar levels. Youll provide essential care, creating peace of mind for the student and their family. The workday is split into two segmentstypically from 7:009:00 a.m. and 1:003:00 p.m.allowing for an uninterrupted mid-day break.

Key Qualifications:

Current RN license in Pennsylvania Previous school nursing or pediatric experience highly desirable Ability to work independently and respond quickly in urgent situations Experience caring for individuals with diabetes preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach

Main Responsibilities:
