Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting surgical teams and patients with your expertise as a CVOR RN. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment, challenging you to provide top-tier care for those undergoing cardiovascular surgeries.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract assignment, schedule to be discussed during interview
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Proven proficiency in assisting complex cardiovascular procedures Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and operating room protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe, sterile, and organized CVOR environment Monitor patients' status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition Scrub and circulate as needed during cardiovascular cases Administer prescribed medications, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the surgical process Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-surgical care requirements Proactively uphold infection control and safety standards
