Job Description

Hanover Public School District is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for a medically complex student during the 2026-2027 school year . This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact by supporting a student's health, safety, and ability to attend school successfully. The ideal candidate will be Spanish-speaking (bilingual) and experienced with specialized care needs.

August 19, 2026 |
End Date:
May 28, 2027
Schedule:
25 hours/week (36-week assignment)
Daily Hours:
Approx. 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM (school day) Includes bus ride coverage (times TBD closer to start)
Compensation & Benefits Estimated Weekly Pay:
$1,150 to $1,270
Estimated Hourly:
$42.75 to $46.05 Part-time schedule with consistent school hours Meaningful 1:1 care assignment Responsibilities Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with: Seizure disorder G-tube feeding needs Monitor and respond to medical needs throughout the school day Ride the school bus to ensure safe transport Collaborate with school staff and caregivers Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans Qualifications Active Pennsylvania RN License required Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) required Experience with seizure care and G-tube strongly preferred School nursing or pediatric experience preferred Additional Information Bus schedule will be confirmed closer to the school year This is a dedicated 1:1 assignment , not a general school nurse role Supportive school environment with clear expectations If you are a compassionate RN looking for a meaningful, student-focused role for the 2026-2027 school year, apply now!
