Responsibilities Conduct initial nursing assessments and evaluations to determine patient care requirements. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create detailed plans of care. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide necessary health interventions. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and home care needs. Document treatment and response to therapies in patient records while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Ensure compliance with all healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families. Manage a caseload of patients, organizing visits and managing time effectively.
