This role goes beyond classroom care, including supervision during bus and/or van ride times. Key Qualifications:

Active LPN or RN license required. Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families. Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency or PRN medication situations. Organized, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of children with medical considerations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one nursing care to an elementary student both during class and transportation times. Administer medications as needed (PRN), maintaining detailed records of all medical interventions. Monitor health status and respond promptly to any changes or concerns. Work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and other support staff to foster a positive, supportive environment. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines for healthcare provision.
