This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) seeking to make a real difference. Work Sunday through Thursday, 3pm-11pm, delivering compassionate, skilled care to students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. Your ability to thrive in this position will be enhanced by a minimum of three years experience in pediatrics or with medically complex individuals. Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families while providing individualized healthcare and promoting students active participation in their educational journey.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid RN license Minimum 3 years experience in pediatric nursing or in settings serving children with complex health needs Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills Experience managing tracheostomies, G-tubes, seizure disorders, or mobility limitations a plus Commitment to fostering a healthy, inclusive, and supportive school environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily medical care and medication administration to students as prescribed Assess, monitor, and address acute and chronic health issues Create and implement individualized health care plans in partnership with educational teams Serve as a liaison between students, families, educators, and outside healthcare providers Act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with all state regulations This unique position offers the satisfaction of impacting students lives while enjoying a consistent afternoon-to-evening schedule.
