1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital, requiring an active PA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent BH/Psych experience. Details Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting Treats adults through geriatric patients, with adolescent services opening in April Manages mental health, behavioral disorders, substance abuse, and addiction cases Staffing ratio approximately 1:20 depending on patient acuity Documents in Epic, with paper charting used for restraint documentation Uses Omnicell medication system with onsite pharmacy open 24/7 Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts from 8PM to 8AM Weekends and holidays assigned as needed Requirements Active PA license or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psych required Additional Information Brand new facility located in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Metro area of NE PA Orientation lasts 3-5 days and includes complimentary Handles With Care de-escalation training Gray scrub color required Located near ski resorts and approximately 40 miles from the NY-NJ border Local candidates considered within a 30-mile radius for local rates, with travel rates applying beyond that radius
