Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinic Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care within a clinical setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient services across diverse medical specialties. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Cerner. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, botulinum toxin treatments, and other specialized therapies. Assist with diagnostic procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, phlebotomy, and specimen collection/processing. Provide acute care management for patients experiencing pain or trauma, including airway management and ventilator support when necessary. Support triage processes by evaluating patient needs in urgent or emergent situations within outpatient or emergency care settings. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, HIPAA regulations, and medical documentation standards. Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, including chronic disease management such as geriatrics, dementia care, or developmental disabilities. Assist with discharge planning, long-term care coordination, and case management for complex cases involving hospice or palliative medicine. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards aligned with NCQA standards for quality healthcare delivery. Qualifications Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or jurisdiction. Proven experience working in clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms (Level I & II Trauma Centers), ICU or PICU environments. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures. Experience performing advanced procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, and ostomy care. Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with trauma medicine and infectious disease care is advantageous. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are desirable. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and experience managing occupational health cases is a plus.
