We are Urgently Hiring an Experienced Outpatient GYN RN in Radnor. Temp-Perm Contract 10/19/26-1/23/27 Hours M-F 8:30 am - 5 pm Overview We are seeking a dedicated Ambulatory Care Nurse specializing in Gynecology to join our outpatient healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to women receiving gynecological services in an ambulatory (outpatient) setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient assessment, clinical procedures, and medical documentation, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. This position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment that emphasizes patient-centered care, health education, and clinical excellence. We're looking for a candidate who is technically strong (EPIC experience preferred), compassionate, and experienced in GYN triage or another ambulatory care specialty (minimum).

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations specific to gynecological health. Assist with outpatient procedures such as Pap smears, colposcopies, and minor surgical interventions. Administer medications and injections, including hormone therapies and botulinum toxin treatments when applicable. Educate patients on gynecological conditions, treatment plans, and preventive health measures. Manage clinical documentation accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Coordinate follow-up care and facilitate referrals to specialists or long-term care services as needed. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Support triage efforts by assessing urgent patient concerns and prioritizing care appropriately. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Skills Proven experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Strong knowledge of gynecological procedures including suturing, tube feeding management, and specimen collection/processing. Familiarity with medical terminology related to obstetrics and gynecology. Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV infusion, venipuncture, catheter care, and sterile processing. Experience in outpatient settings or ambulatory surgery centers is highly desirable. Knowledge of pharmacology related to hormone therapy, pain management, and botulinum toxin treatments. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to handle diverse patient populations with sensitivity and professionalism. Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in trauma or critical care are advantageous.
