School Nurse & Health Room Attendent Northern Lehigh School District Slatington, PA School Nurse & Health Room Openings (RN / LPN / Certified School Nurse) About the Openings The Northern Lehigh School District in Slatington, PA is seeking compassionate, qualified nursing professionals to join our healthcare team for the 2026-2027 school year . We are currently hiring for two distinct pathways depending on your licensure, credentials, and schedule availability: School Nurse (Full-Time, Contracted Position): Ideal for RNs with a School Nurse Certification (or willingness to obtain one) who want to manage student care, coordinate school health programs, and provide guidance to district LPNs. Licensed Health Room Attendant (Part-Time, District-Wide): Ideal for LPNs or RNs looking for a predictable schedule (4 days per week) focusing on direct student care in our health rooms.

Key Responsibilities Direct Student Care:

Provide high-quality healthcare and first aid to students, staff, and families across the district.

Chronic Case Management:

Care for students with chronic health conditions and special healthcare needs.

Compliance & Records:

Navigate and maintain accurate data within electronic health record systems in compliance with school health regulations. Leadership (Full-Time Track): Provide clinical guidance and support to health room LPNs in other district schools.

Qualifications & Skills Active Professional License:

Must possess a valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN license

Certifications:

School Nurse Certification required for the full-time role (or a clear willingness to enroll and obtain it).

Experience:

Prior experience in pediatric, community, or school nursing is preferred.

Soft Skills:
