Shift:

2p-10:30p SCI Somerset is a medium-security state prison with a 12-bed infirmary and psychiatric observation cells. Medasource is hiring on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. What you'll do Carry out care plans under the direction of an RN or physician Prepare and pass medications; record vitals and patient responses Assist with intake screenings, physical assessments, EKGs and vision tests Respond to emergencies with first aid and CPR Follow infection-control protocols and document all care What you need Active Pennsylvania LPN license Current CPR/BLS certification Able to climb stairs on housing units and push wheelchairs and carts Pass the DOC background investigation and complete DOC orientation

Preferred:

Corrections, long-term care or med-surg experience
