Description Sthenos LLC (PA entity ID on file), doing business as Sthenos Technologies, is a contracted staffing vendor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is hiring a Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) at the PA Department of Corrections, SCI Laurel Highlands, 5706 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501 (Somerset County).

Schedule:

six 12-hour shifts plus one 8-hour shift per two-week pay period (80 hours), every other weekend off. RNs assess and triage incarcerated patients, administer medications and treatments, respond to medical emergencies, coordinate with physicians and mid-level providers, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and complete accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Requirements:

active PA RN license in good standing; current BLS/CPR; correctional, long-term care or acute-care experience preferred; ability to obtain DOC facility clearance. This is a full-time, W-2 contract position through Sthenos Technologies, working on-site at SCI Laurel Highlands. Sthenos Technologies is the employer of record and pay is processed weekly.

Pay:

$40.00 per hour, paid weekly. Credentialing completed through Sthenos before start: active PA RN license in good standing; current BLS/CPR (AHA); government-issued photo ID; PA State Police criminal background check (ePATCH); FBI fingerprint clearance; PA Child Abuse History Clearance; pre-employment physical; TB screening; immunization and flu records; DOC security clearance; professional references; pre-employment drug screen.
