About Eternal Life Hospice Inc. Eternal Life Hospice Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse to join our hospice team serving patients and families throughout the Malibu area. We are looking for an RN who is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients remain comfortable and supported in their preferred setting. Position Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes, facilities, and other appropriate settings. Assess patient condition and monitor changes in physical, emotional, and psychosocial status. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized hospice plans of care. Provide pain and symptom management in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders. Educate patients and families regarding disease progression, medications, comfort measures, and hospice services. Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and interdisciplinary group. Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in IDG meetings and care coordination as required. Supervise hospice aides and other members of the care team as applicable. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families. Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and hospice needs. Qualifications Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR certification. Hospice or home health experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and manage field visits effectively. Valid California driver's license. Reliable transportation and current auto insurance. Ability to travel throughout Long Beach and surrounding areas.
